Nets and cords
Recycling of fibres

Challenge

Recycling nets and cords made of polymers is complex, as there can be a wide range of impurities. This is because they are used in many different applications – from fishing nets to agriculture.

Solution

To ensure successful recycling, it is important to first separate the fibres of the material from one another. This allows the dirt trapped between them to be removed successfully. An optimum fibre content in the process water is then set to ensure that the cleaning process runs smoothly and that no tangling occurs.

In a nutshell

the outstanding features of HydroDyn technology

Functional Tooling

Special HydroCleaner tools for fibrous materials ensure optimum cleaning results.

Smart Process Water

Separate water circuits, ultrafiltration and the HydroDyn firewall guarantee the outstanding purity of the recyclate. This minimises recontamination from process water and also reduces water loss.

Booster Drying

The classification of PET flakes and label films is carried out in a hot-air flow, which saves energy and minimises the development of fine particles through mechanical stress.
